A Perth-based motor trimming company has introduced a new range of protective machine covers to the Queensland mining business which are conserving a number of the state's largest businesses thousands of dollars in replacement parts and precautionary maintenance charges.

WA anf Rio Tinto in Queensland has simply placed a bulk order for the sleeves, which MMT is manufacturing in a range of safety colors, including yellow and orange.
"We're finding that the more progressive industries are seeing the big cost advantages, and our orders have extra by 20 per cent since first launching into the Queensland market only six months ago," Mr Spouge added.
"We're also doing work with a number of the bigger miners to custom layout preventative sleeves for other plant and machinery, and this bespoke, tailor-made service is an area which we will be looking to increase into in the future."
The research and designing work carried out by MMT on the protective ram covers is an addition to the company's center industry, which is focused on the supply, setting up and maintenance of premium suspension seats and seating products to the The Aussie outback mining, design, engineering, building and transport sectors.
The industry is Western Australia's only certified supplier and repairer for German manufacturer ISRI, which is greatly recognized as the producer of the world's most modern driver and passenger seating products.
